BCA Watson Rice LLP has performed audits of a variety of publicly and privately financed housing and real estate projects. We audit housing projects funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), and the New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR). Since 1986 we have performed financial and compliance audits of the Metropolitan Dade County (Florida) Department of Public Housing and Special Housing. We are also one of the largest certified auditors of private real estate projects constructed under the low income tax credit program. In addition, we are cognizant of the unique needs of the residential and non-residential contractors and developers, of REITS, and of institutional investors and family-owned businesses and partnerships, and offer specialized services to meet those needs.
